Ravens make it official, sign Beck Premium Story

OWINGS MILLS -- In a transaction that creates competition for the backup quarterback job, the Baltimore Ravens officially signed former second-round quarterback John Beck to a one-year contract Monday and cut veteran quarterback Todd Bouman. Beck will compete with former Heisman Trophy winner Troy Smith for the primary backup job behind starter Joe Flacco.
